KlezCalifornia is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 that creates hands-on cultural, musical and social events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Participation is the essence of our community. We love to learn Yiddish culture and explore its contemporary possibilities. Come join us at events such as:
  • Klezmer dance parties led by experienced teachers
  • Klezmer and Yiddish song concerts
  • Conversation salons for fluent and intermediate Yiddish speakers
  • Sing-alongs of old and new Yiddish favorites
  • Workshops with master music and dance teachers
  • Festivals of klezmer music and Yiddish culture
We invite you to subscribe to our free e-newsletter to learn about activities throughout the region. KlezCalifornia also produces a Yiddish Song Book and a KlezCalifornia Khevruse** DIrectory to connect individuals with common interests. We welcome you to join in the fun!

To become a Contributing Member of KlezCalifornia, send a check of any amount to the address at left, or donate online. Donations are tax-deductible.
